Elke is a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Human Genetics and Anthropology at Heinrich-Heine University Düsseldorf. Her expertise spans areas such as stem cell differentiation, immunofluorescence, and organoid development, particularly focusing on brain organoids derived from induced pluripotent stem cells. As a co-founder of Neuronfab, Elke contributes to the advancement of biotechnology and personalized medicine by developing models for brain disorders and drug screening. Her scientific contributions are documented in numerous publications on topics like glioma invasion and neurodevelopmental disorders.

Jay is a Professor at the University of Jena and co-founder of Neuronfab, an innovative company dedicated to the development and production of human brain organoids.
